I came across this great “infographic” showing the affect text messaging, or SMS, is having on the world.
Some of the ones I thought were really interesting were:
- 6.1 trillion text messages were sent in 2010
- Which was over 194,000 messages per second
- 48 million people worldwide have mobile phones, but no electricity
